May 2020

Since the world was still shut down in May we had lots of fun together at home.

The kids missed out on field day this year at school so they created their own in the backyard!

The neighbor down the street is a DJ and decided that he will have a dance party every weekend for the neighborhood.  It's fun for everyone to get together and mingle while everything is still shut down.

William surprised us at Family Night by playing the guitar for us!

For a little bit we had ward meetings (with a few talks and a musical number via zoom) and then we would partake of the sacrament at home.

I completed a really hard puzzle (Rich helped with about 20 pieces out 1000)

We played some games together for Star Wars Day (May the 4th)

I finally sewed a mask so I could go to Costco (they are required now).

We did some more volunteer work at the orchard.

Coronavirus couldn't stop our annual water balloon fight from taking place!

This was as good as it got for our Mother's Day picture.

We worked on some fun crafts.

Henry made us a giant cookie.

Lydia helped me deliver water balloons to all the ward primary children.

And then we had a water balloon fight!

Lydia started learning to ride her bike with training wheels.

When we went to volunteer at the Orchard they let us help with the chickens!

Rich and I celebrated our 17th anniversary at Bob's Ranch House.

End of the year awards ceremonies were held virtually.

Henry's teacher, Ms. Dorbeck, is the best!  She stopped by with a treat for Henry.

We helped out with onions at the Orchard.  It was a stinky task!

They let us take some onions home with us.  James thought it was a good idea to eat one raw!

We gave a little end of the year gift to Mrs. Marjie and Ms. Dorbeck.

The pandemic couldn't stop the annual start-of-summer party held by the Fitzgibbons.  We had a great time even though we were only allotted a small time to come over.

We had a great time exploring the fossil beds near our home!

Lydia hosted a tea party!  She planned out all the details and the boys were all good sports to join her.

I went shoppping for the first time with a mask on. Hopefully this is short lived.
