Alaska: Rich's last day

Thursday ended up being one of the only rainy days while we were in Alaska (which is pretty amazing considering that it was rainy almost every day the last time we were visiting!)  It was a bummer that it also happened to be Rich's last day in town.  We made the most of it though!

Our first stop was to the Wells Fargo Museum.  It was full of Native Alaska artifacts and even had some hands on stuff for the boys.

It was pretty neat to explore this tiny museum and learn more about the native culture.

The next stop was the Alaska Fur Exchange.  The boys were in awe over all the animals up on the walls.

I'm pretty sure at least one of them wanted these hats.

And the wolves were pretty awesome too.

The amount of furs in this little shop was amazing!  It was a fun little place to browse.

Because the weather outside was still damp we headed over to the church to get some energy out.  Jacob even decided to join us here (he decided that the other places were too boring and didn't want to come.)  The boys played dodgeball and basketball and generally just ran around and got their energy out.

That night we ordered pizza and had a great time visiting.  Once the boys were in bed we even managed to squeeze in a board game before taking Rich to the airport.
