Spring Break: Time at the Temple

Last week was our Spring Break.  It really wasn't long enough!  Monday we stuck around the house to get things done like laundry and haircuts.  Tuesday we decided to take a picnic up to the temple grounds and meet up with Rich for dinner after he finished a session there.  We enjoyed walking around the temple grounds while we waited for him.  The weather was beautiful and it's always refreshing to feel the spirit even just outside the temple.

 After walking around we found the perfect little area.  It was so peaceful--like a slice of heaven.

Shortly after getting down there we saw Rich at his car and he came down to meet us.  We had a nice little picnic.

 Just as we were finishing our picnic someone came to tell us that we were actually not allowed to have a picnic down there... or have blankets on the grass.  It's really too bad because it was perfectly peaceful and I had been thinking that I want to do it again!  (Having picnics or Family Night on the temple lawn was a favorite thing for us to do in Oklahoma.)  So we cleaned up and enjoyed the peace there for a little bit longer and talked a little bit about Easter.

 Even though our evening got cut a little short it was still a great start to our Spring Break!
