Pioneer Day

I always love to celebrate Pioneer Day.  It is important to know more about the people who came before us and the sacrifices they made.

This year I had the kids make some butter.

So many places seem to think that Pioneer Day is a "Utah holiday"... but really it is a holiday that celebrates our heritage!  I love that our stake puts on a huge celebration every year.  It is always HOT but it is still lots of fun!

This year was different because William and James are big enough to go off on their own.  But I did manage to round them all up for a quick picture in the covered wagon.
