Catch Up: Last Baseball game!

Once we found out that we were moving we decided that our plans for William to be in baseball this year would be put on hold.  It would be just too much to take him to practices, games, and watch the little boys by myself.  Some friends found out and really wanted William to be on the team.  They offered to take him to games, practices, whatever would help... so we decided to do it.  The fun thing about this team was that it was a combination between his t-ball team from last year and his school buddies that he's know since pre-K.

Rich was so sad that he wasn't able to make it to any of the games--but Grandpa and Lisa were able to come watch his last game.  And I even was able to capture William's awesome hit on video!  (The reason that he's confused is because the ball hit the pitching machine and he wasn't sure if he was out or not!)

The whole team was so sweet and signed a baseball to give to William and the other moms made sure that we got some team pictures as well.

The same friends who took William to practices and games brought some treats for after the game... a sort of "farewell to William" party.  It was so sweet.

It was fun to watch William with his friends and see his excitement while playing.  I'm so grateful for the friends who made it possible for William to have such a great experience!  This was a perfect way for William to say goodbye to his friends.
