YM summer camp (and what the rest of us did)

The summer started off great for William and James!  They were able to attend Young Men camps--which we joked were more like a vacation.

William took off first.  Monday morning he headed with the Priests and Teachers for a week at Lake Powell.

He had a great time but said that a week at the lake became a little repetitive.

James and Rich were off next.  They left Wednesday morning with the Deacons for a few days in Utah.

They started with a hike to Kanarraville Falls.

Thursday they spent all day at Temple Square.

Friday they spent the day at Lagoon.  They stopped at Cove Fort on their way back home on Saturday.

While they were off having fun in Utah the rest of us had some fun too!

We made some freezer jam.

Hung out with friends at the Springs Preserve.

Alex had some coupons for BJ's (from reading so much this year!) so we went to dinner one night.

We spent some time at a few parks.

And we made sure to get some free donuts for National Donut Day!

It was a really fun week for everyone!
